2024年9月1日 · Kennecott 904 was the last EMD SD24 built, the only one built in 1963, with none having been built in 1962. Kennecott had wanted a six-axle version of the then currently available GP30. Equipped with dynamic braking.

Athearn over the years has release SD40T-2's in an LTEX scheme (ex-UP), SD40-2's in FURX and HLCX. None of these are terribly easy to find anymore though. Ebay might be your best bet. Or just buy the "new" HLCX decals from Highball Graphics and do a dip job on an SD40-2, SD45-2, or SD40T-2 yourself, which is pretty easy.
