2020年12月25日 · I’ve the G1 and the G2 on order. I’ve noticed massive improvements of G1 performance since the G2 launch in both visuals and audio, likely due to upgrades from HP and MS. So in my view, even though I haven’t received the G2 yet, yes the G1 is a very good headset. Downsides of G1 vs G2 will likely be comfort, audio and IPD adjustment.

2020年8月24日 · Definitely the HP Reverb G1 is a big improvement over the Lenovo Explorer. (In my opinion the Lenovo continuous to be one of the best headsets of the first generation) If you are thinking to get an brand new, I suggest to jump to the G2 or wait for the other brand put some competition on market.

2021年11月11日 · so I bought a while ago a hp reverb g1 but I sell the pc I was useing and bought a laptop (lenovo legion 5 pro whit rtx 3070) and this laptop does not have dp or thunderbolt it only have hdmi 2.1 Is there any adapter or something for it to work fine? I found one adapter for 38eurs its hdmi 2.0 to dp 1.3 Is it good enough and can it work?

2020年11月11日 · I just got a lightly used G1 for half the retail cost of a new G2 and tried vtol vr for the first time today and it blew me away, was awesome. Tracking and controllers work great, the thumb pad is a bit fiddly for radar selection but no other complaints, the high res panels are incredible, I tried a Rift S recently and looked awful by comparison.

After trying both Lenovo and hp reverb g2 with slim face gasket, the Lenovo still comes out on top, so I assume it is similar to the Samsung odyssey plus? A bit sad that a cheap, badly reviewed headset from 5 years ago is still better in some ways than a top end product like a reverb g2.
