Bangkok Airways Flight 266 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Krabi Airport to Samui Airport, Thailand. On 4 August 2009, the aircraft skidded off the runway on landing and crashed into an old and unmanned control tower. One pilot died and 41 other people were injured.

A Bangkok Airways ATR-72 passenger plane was substantially damaged when it skidded off the runway at Koh Samui. The airplane collided with the airport control tower building.

2013年10月10日 · Bangkok Airways PG 266 on August 4th 2009 from Krabi to Koh Samui Thailand with 68 passengers and 4 crew, skidded off runway 35 at Koh Samui and collided with an old unused control tower at around 14:30 local (07:30Z). The captain was killed. This wreck is 20 km from the airport in south of the Island. HS-PGL. ATR 72-212A(500).

2009年8月4日 · Following an uneventful flight from Krabi, the crew started the approach to Koh Samui Airport. Conditions at destination were marginal with stormy weather, winds and turbulences. Upon landing on runway 35, the aircraft bounced then landed a second time.
