2005年10月30日 · I own a 75 and have used the131 the power difference is minimal at best and not worth the weight. Keep the shaft clean of gunked up grease, clean and lube it twice a year and get the bar oiling system clean so it uses a tank of oil to about 1/2 a tank of gas. Keep the chain sharp and it will work well.

The owner's manual describes a procedure for lubricating the driveshaft on the HT 70 (non-telescoping), but not the HT 75. This saw is about a year and a half old, as has probably been run for 150-200 hours.

Once I start putting it to wood the chain will slow down, or simply stop spinning, even though the engine is still revving.
