§ 126.100 What is the purpose of the HUBZone program? The purpose of the HUBZone program is to provide federal contracting assistance for small business concerns located in historically underutilized business zones in an effort to increase employment opportunities, investment, and economic development in such areas.

Once you've completed the steps, you'll be able to see if your business appears to meet the HUBZone Program's requirement that the principal office be located in a HUBZone and at least 35% of the business' employees reside in a HUBZone.

2025年1月16日 · SBA proposed to increase the floor from 20% to 35% during performance of a HUBZone contract and to give firms a 12-month “grace period” after award of a HUBZone contract, during which time the firm can hire enough HUBZone residents to meet the 35% HUBZone residency requirement for the program.
