May 17, 2021 · I have seven HBAL targets HBAL532 N259th, HBAL534 N254th, etc flying down around Wilmington NC. It seems they belong to Loon internet services. The website says they are shutting down. They also seem to have tie in to Alphabet (Google)

Feb 1, 2023 · Project Loon balloon up at 64,000 ft altitude, east of Albuquerque, NM (looks like it started in Santa Fe). I thought the program closed a couple years ago. Maybe some agency is using it for something else?
