2016年1月19日 · 1. If a new installation, center the headlight door in the opening by adjusting the pivot points and the collars (on the hinge posts) at the upper rear corners of the assembly. Hold the door in the closed position and adjust the pivot points until the corners of the door are aligned with the corners of the opening.

2004年4月15日 · If the range of travel is insufficient to flush the headlamp assy. with the hood, check the headlight housing where it bolts to the headlamp door. Tighten any loose screws to bring the headlamp door down. You can shim the headlamp door up, if necessary. C'ya D

I have a headlight out and went to take it out yesterday and cannot get the shroud off because the door doesn't raise as high as it should, preventing the shroud from sliding out. I looked at all the linkage, hoses, wires etc on that thing and stopped what I was doing and came here to research.

However, the automatic shut off (high torque switch, or HTS) makes that a rather more complex task than at first it might seem. That's because when a motor reaches its limit, one of the 'wires' is disconnected from the motor by the HTS.
