HEAF is a fully-funded college access program opening doors for students from NYC’s underserved communities.

HEAF’s staff is comprised of diverse individuals working diligently and collaboratively to carry out its mission of empowering students from underserved communities through a comprehensive array of educational programming and learning opportunities.

HEAF’s external leadership consists of executives and leaders from across industries and disciplines who set the strategic direction, provide oversight and counsel to the management and staff.

HEAF announced two key appointments that bolster the organization’s leadership and help ensure HEAF can continue to close education and opportunity gaps for students from underserved communities. Megan Campbell joined HEAF as Chief Development & External Relations Officer in November 2022.

HEAF’s 2024 Annual Gala was held on Wednesday, October 23 at the beautiful Gotham Hall. This year’s theme of “Opening Doors, Empowering Futures” is the blueprint of HEAF’s success; for 35 years HEAF has worked with students and their families to open doors to college and into meaningful careers.

2022年7月27日 · Mr. Johnson will succeed interim President & CEO Fern Khan, an 18-year trustee of HEAF and Dean Emerita, Division of Continuing Education, Bank Street College of Education. Ms. Khan will remain an active member of HEAF’s Board of Directors.
