Heritage Park is located in the city of Irvine in Orange County, California. The park sits next to Heritage Park Regional Library on the corner of Yale and Walnut Avenue (s), and is adjacent to Irvine High School. It was for decades recognized by its iconic wooden "water tower" slide, which stood three stories tall. [citation needed] .

The City of Irvine has developed a master plan for Heritage Community Park. Opened in 1978, many of the parks original facilities are still being used today. This plan focuses on enhancing the services and facilities provided within the approximately 44-acre community park.

Heritage Park has grown into a mega space used by many for swimming, walking, and more. Great pool for swimming and water polo. Parking can be very tight.
