2020年6月1日 · Stay away from Hertz H8 DSP unless you like accented high end, random Click noises, unexplainable distortion & alt noise/ engine feedback & a poorly worded manual that is confusing. I troubleshot that unit til I was blue in the face. Helix has 0 of the issues that the Hertz did using same install spot, same ground, wiring, RCA’s etc.

2017年9月17日 · I'm planning to add either the Hertz H8 DSP or JL's FiX 86 + TwK 88 setup. The Hertz H8 claims to flatten the input EQ before doing time alignment and EQ. The JL FiX flattens the EQ and takes away any time alignment before sending things to the TwK to do time alignment and EQ. The JL system seems ideal, but the Hertz is a few hundred less.

2023年8月18日 · @Adurm has the latest 4 in 6 out Helix DSP Mini for sale in the classifieds. If you need more than 4 in or 6 out, The Helix DSP.3 or DSP.3S is the next option. For JL, you would want the TwK 88 for DSP, as the FiX is only for the input side of the equation. Helix units take care of both. I wouldn't bother with either of the Hertz/Audison stuff.

I applied a -3db on the tweeter passive crossovers because the factory equalization is too harsh for me and came to the realization it is now time to buy a DSP and at the same time go full active. I've narrowed down my choices to the Hertz H8 and the Helix Mini DSP.

2021年5月27日 · I bought a hertz h8 dsp used. It didn't come with pc cord or software disc. I downloaded the software off website and bought a cord off Amazon. I CAN NOT get the dsp to connect to my pc. I installed and reinstalled software and set usb settings but will not connect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
