The Hazardous Environment Suit, also simply known as the HEV Suit, or the Hazard Suit, is a protective suit worn by Gordon Freeman and other members of the Black Mesa Science Team in the Half-Life series. The suit was designed for use in hazardous environment conditions. It provides limited protection from the elements.

The HEV Mk5 concept art from VALVE had a yellow/orange de-saturated look to it and I tried to emulate that first time around. This time I want to emulate the Black Mesa model based on the HEV suit in original game with some additional stuff and a bit of my own flair.

2018年2月10日 · Mark 5 has : A radio, can use combine energy and health stations, Flashlight AUX power shared with new Sprint and Oxygen feature. Shield power absorbs more damage. Best of all, it's redesigned for comfort and utility. M4 has none of this. BM doesn't count.

2022年3月4日 · Always made me wonder why Gordon received a HEV suit to be teleported to Black Mesa east while Alyx wore a leather jacket. If he received it to fight the Combine a ballistic vest still would sound more reasonable as you expect gunfight not radiation, electric discharge and blunt-force trauma (HEV suit protects you against according to wikia)

We all know about the HEV mk4 and mk5 suits, but is there any idea or speculation what the Mk1-3 suits may have been like? just curious. I like to think of the early renditions of the HEV suit are the previous models. Mark III.
