Assembly: overall, the HFGH instructions are easy to follow and most pieces fit only one way. However, the Door instructions are wrong. Total GH assembly was 10 hours with 2 people, including a half hour to unassemble and reassemble the door sides. The HFGH revised manual is dated 05/03; 12/05 . Additional steps and cautions:

I think the HFGH has been made "infamous" by folks who located the greenhouse in bad locations, e.g., too exposed, or who really didn't have the needed experience, or whose expectations were unrealistic. I will admit that I'm not impressed by the vent opener. dennyg
Potential problem with Harbor Freight greenhouse panels?
May 18, 2008 · Given the number of hfgh houses out there the few problems with discoloring and holes can only be considered an anomaly of undetermined cause. In engineering circles it is a "possible unverified failure" until a root cause can be established.
Anyone bought a Harbor Freight Greenhouse 10 x 12 recently??
We have our HFGH because of you and your well-documented experience! We live in zone 5a in New England. We added composite deck flooring (a freebie from craigslist) and two conduit braces, which have proven mighty handy for non-structural issues and tweaked and reinforced a few things, like the doors, with 90 degree alumimum channel.

You can follow my thread called "first time purchase - need you input please" for some information that was helpful to me. (Post #3178926) I would give you the advice to go with the bigger one if you can. You know how us gardeners tend to expand in all directions.....
