2004年10月31日 · I just came across a Homelite c 51 that has been sitting in a barn for a few years. It fired up after some fresh fuel and about 20 pulls. Dont know anything about this saw and was wondering if its worth keeping.

2012年4月18日 · That is the overrunning sprag clutch type starter. Better suited for automatic transmissions and not chainsaws. Best bet is clean the sprag and hub and very lightly oil (WD40) and hope for the best. The Fairbanks-Morse starter is much better for a chainsaw environment. I picked up one for $80.00 an an auction at the farm next door in 1976.

2017年7月11日 · New-to-me Homelite C-51 ' Convertable Drive '. Did not look this clean when I found it, but looks complete after an initial clean up. Mike Acres' site says produced 1964 - 1967; 4.7 cu. in. (77cc); this one has a 26" bar and Carlton .404 chipper chain. Weight is approximately 25 pounds (dry with bar and chains).

2005年10月22日 · The C-51 has a MANUAL OILER and the new ones are automatic. This info is based on the info from acresinternet. The Homelite has a die cast magnesium case which some appreciate more than the plastic and magnesium cases of the modern saw.
