I've recently come across a 1983 Honda CG125-C at a garage which I'm considering on getting. Everything seemed in working order, however the headlamp as well as the indicators seemed slightly dim. The bike runs on 6V electrics, so I'm wondering if its fairly easy to upgrade the lights to something brighter.

Apr 16, 2020 · I'm trying to collect info on which bikes had which engines (there were several CG125 engines). I have an old 1980 CG125 with 6V electrics and points ignition that I would like to update with 12v and CDI parts from later engines, but finding out which bikes had which engine is next to impossible, so I've started to collect the information myself.

May 3, 2019 · I used a colortune kit to setup the idle, and it was bang on with the default 2.5 turns out that I reset the mixture screw to when I changed the jet. The colortune showed a nice blue flame. I swapped the old spark plug out for a new NGK of the type Honda recommend for extended high speed use (I have a 1500 miles trip planned next month).

Oct 14, 2020 · CG125 1993 is turning over, and sounds ok, but not firing. It wont turn over at all if the throttle is open even the smallest amount. The carb I have doesn't have choke settings, so the choke is fully closed.

It is off a 1999 honda CG125. Front Back The screw on the front is the Idle speed. I cant find any other screws which adjust the fuel mixture...

Aug 11, 2023 · A couple weeks ago I bought a 2006 Honda CG125 and then fell while riding shortly afterwards. The damage was luckily not that bad and most of it will be repaired soon by a local Honda repair shop, but a new headlight would cost about 230€ there. After I saw the quote, I looked at various online part stores, but found nothing.

Sep 12, 2012 · That is a single cylinder cb125, they also made a twin. If you were to expand into the honda twins the styling stays the same and you are more likely to find one local. Do a local search for any of the following bikes cb/cl 125, 175, 200, 350 They are all fairly easy to obtain parts for. None are extremely powerful/fast in their stock condition.
