The FJR1300ES features a smooth-running, 1,298cc, DOHC, 16 valve, liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine that delivers superb power and torque for unequaled muscular acceleration across the RPM range.

The FJR1300 uses a five-speed sequential manual gearbox (six-speed from 2016 model onwards) with wide-ratio gears. The final-drive is via shaft, encased within the swingarm, which has mono-shock suspension with a remote quick-set two-position adjustable pre-load.

2013年5月5日 · Brakes: the FJR has a nice rear brake - more grip than the ST. I do like the front brake on ST better. Overall both bikes have very nice brakes. The FJR system is simpler with no link between front lever and the rear caliper (no SMC!).

2007年6月6日 · The FJR (admittedly not perfect in stock form) looks great, sounds like a motorcycle should sound. It's a hundred pounds lighter than the ST and feels two hundred pounds lighter at slow speeds. The FJR's engine is much more responsive and powerful than the ST's although being and inline four it does vibrate a little.

2022年10月21日 · The FJR is a stellar motorcycle, but you definitely should take a long ride on one first. They are top heavy when stopped, and there is vibration that some people don't mind but that can be tiring if you're sensitive to in-line-4 high frequencies.
