The Honda FTR223 - seemed to be "the people's bike" in Japan
2014年12月24日 · I've shown the Honda FTR to many people, and I've never heard anyone say anything except "When are they making an American market version?" Personally, I'd pick one of these up brand new if I could! I think there are a lot of groups of riders, (Harley, sport bike) that talk poorly about low displacement motorcycles, but if you hit the streets ...

Honda Ftr 223 or vtr250 for first bike? : r/motorcycles - Reddit
2016年1月18日 · No experience with the Ftr but I love my vtr. Great little bike even if I am a bit tall for it. Works well commuting most days. I haven't taken it out for a longer trip around the country yet but it had handled the more spirited twisties that I have gone out to well.
Indian scout vs FTR 1200 for first time rider?? - Reddit
2020年8月6日 · Personally, I learned on a Honda Rebel 500 and ended up trading it in for a very good price to buy my FTR 1200S. I test rode both. A lot of it comes down to preference. What sold me on the FTR was the ride height (I like being up high to survey the road), the upright stance, and holy f*ck it’s a rocket. The Scout was more low-slung than I wanted.

Toyota Corolla reliability, very easy to work on and very cheap to mod/maintain. I almost went for a CBR 250RR which had a similar price (maybe $200 more) but I'm so glad I went with the FTR.
Honda FTR 223 ticking sound? Sounds like it’s coming from
2020年1月23日 · My old Honda makes a similar sound, though less persistent. My bike has a hydraulic cam chain tensioner that uses the engine oil to maintain tension. It never used to make a noise, so I have a suspicion that using synthetic oil (it's an '88) might have caused it to behave differently so next oil change I'm gonna use mineral and see what happens...
Seeking honest advice... is the new Honda CB750 Hornet too
I only had previous experience with my father’s Honda NC750S which is just 54hp, but after 2-3 rides it felt small. With the Hornet I can say that it hasn’t lost that feeling, after riding it for 2000km. The electric aids help a lot with the bike, the different modes give the bike different personalities.
