The Yamaha TT-R230 is a great beginner bike. It's quiet, dependable, has a proven track record, and with a few modifications, allows room for growth as your riding improves. If the TT-R were being compared to the Honda CRF230 it would be a dead heat, but it's being compared to the Honda CRF250F which is a brand new bike.

2024年5月29日 · Anyone have experience with both the TTR and the CRF that can shed some insight? Hard to beat Honda trail bikes, either will make a great bike though. In that category of bikes klx140 is the king as it has best brakes and full cradle frame plus the extra ccs so it has most power (not a rocket by any means tho).

2003年4月2日 · We've had a CRF 230 for about a month and a half now and one of our riding buddies has a TTR 225. The Honda has more power and appears to be better engineered, but they are both brazilian bikes in origin. Also, seems to be more aftermarket stuff for the Honda (BBR, Factory Effex graphics and such).
