2012年6月27日 · I've had difficulties tillering my copy of a hupa style bow. It's now eventually looking good tiller wise. It's one of the smallest bows at 36" and the wood is Hawthorn (which is an excellent bow wood in my opinion). The wood is 1" 3/4" at widest and is now probably about 1/8" thick. 3 layers of sinew are laid on its back.

Bows, arrows, and quivers of the american frontier by John Baldwin has lots of photos of bows from West Coast. A very good source for actual pics of native designs.
