Irish Country Meats is Europe's leading lamb processor, with a reputation for product quality, innovation and customer service across the continent. The company operates two fully integrated processing activities on the East Coast, Ireland's prime sheep-producing region.

Irish Country Meats was acquired by Slaney Foods Ltd a member of the Linden Foods Group in June 2000 and continues to trade as Irish Country Meats. The plant is located on a Greenfield site on the N11 equidistant form the towns of Gorey & Enniscorthy. The plant was constructed in 1986/87 and was commissioned in August 1987.
