2014年3月21日 · The FLEXX Eco bogie remains the world’s only lightweight in-board bearing bogie which is already fully-proven in passenger service for a wide range of mainline applications. Bombardier is now developing the latest FLEXX Eco Platform bogie and this will be used on all future contracts.

2013年10月10日 · Bogies from the FLEXX family go under most of the electric and diesel multiple unit (EMU/DMU) trains that Bombardier produces, but they have to cope with a wide range of operational challenges depending on where the train is running and the job it is being asked to do.

Later this year, a super-lightweight trailer bogie based on an existing Bombardier design used for the UK Voyager and Meridian trains will be manufactured for the 250km/h ICx regional trains to be made by Siemens for the German railway operator Deutsche Bahn.

2011年5月31日 · The FLEXX Eco bogie will have a dedicated version for the trailer cars of the new German ICx trains, reducing train weight with 15 tonnes, and offering the opportunity of aerodynamic improvements by covering the bogie.

The SF 500 bogies are a further development of the SGP 400 bogies, 950 of which are in use on the ICE2 of the Deutsche Bahn AG. They are designed for electric railcar trains and modern high-speed trains and provide optimum ride quality.

2011年5月9日 · Bombardier Transportation said Monday it has signed a framework agreement with Siemens AG to become a partner to develop and supply important components of up to 300 ICx high speed trains for Germany’s Deutsche Bahn (DB). Bombardier said the first call-off for 130 trains is worth an estimated 1.3 billion euros, or $1.8 billion, to Bombardier.

TheICx needs up to 30% less energy than its predecessors. Trailing bogie TheICx uses a more highly developed variant of the Bombardier FLEXX Eco® trailing bogie. It has been optimized for high-speed transport. This bogie is especially track-friendly and helps reduce energy consumption through its construction and skirt option.
