2023年2月2日 · With Disney+ , there is the sentient that the Imax enhanced is just a badge, with the only real benefit is the aspect ratio. If the stream was a true Imax enhanced with would be sending as DTS sound mix not Dolby. Imax enhanced uses DTS encoded as the sound format so if Disney plus is not sending it then it isn't a true format change.

2021年11月22日 · In comparison, IMAX with Laser theaters with the new 12-channel sound systems (which use proprietary IMAX speakers and subwoofers) go down to 23 Hz however are very limited, in comparison to Dolby Cinema, in terms of number of channels/speakers and don't offer object-based audio (as far as I know).

Also Oppenheimer on a true IMAX 70mm film makes 4K on an OLED look like standard def. The level of detail is so incredible, it almost looks like real life.
