IADI currently represents 103 deposit insurers. It is constituted as not-for-profit association under Swiss Law and hosted by the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland.

IADI is the global standard-setter for deposit insurance systems and the principal forum where deposit insurers from around the world meet to share knowledge and expertise. The Association provides training and technical assistance and produces research and guidance on matters related to deposit insurance.

Founded in 2002, IADI is a non-profit organisation constituted under Swiss law and domiciled at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel, Switzerland.

An IADI sponsored event is any virtual or live training event that carries IADI branding and logo, or any related IADI materials, even in those cases where the event does not require funding from IADI.
