I am not here to get lectured on my risk profile so lets not go there - lets just say my investments are on the safe side (a lot of SPACs commons).

2021年6月1日 · According to IB support, Lite accounts were cut off from the client portal API September 13th, 2023. Although, I placed an API trade October 31st, 2023, and didn't get any errors. The web site ( https://interactivebrokers.github.io/cpwebapi/ ) is considered their "legacy" client API documentation.

2021年7月11日 · Lite has free trades and I believe free market data, so if you're an active trader you're going to save money going with lite. (If you're worried about fills use limit orders.) Pro is better if you don't pay for market subscriptions, are a buy and hold investor so you're not paying a lot in commission, and you might be using margin.
