2020年9月20日 · I am PUA Lyft driver, and understand your frustation. In order, to become eligible for PUA benefits, you must 1st become ineligible for regular state benefits. In fact, you will receive the IDES letter (showing state benefit ineligible) on a monthly basis-don't panick, you will still be able to certify for PUA benefits.

Recently one person at IDES helped me out telling me I actually do qualify for PUA, even though I last worked in 2019 but was eligible due to few eligibility requirements due to quarantine. 2021年5月4日 · Please contact the IDES Claimant Services Center at (800) 244-5631 for further assistance. When I call this number, after going through all the prompts, I get "please try calling back later" and the automatic system hangs up on me. IDES says I can file a claim even if I live out of state, though I don't.

So I waited around for 3 weeks and then finally decided to call them. Getting through to a human is tough but you have to be persistent because otherwise they’ll let your case sit there for weeks. Once I spoke to someone at IDES my application was taken out of adjudication in a few days. Turns out they just needed a few more documents.

2020年12月23日 · There's a lot of flaws with the PUA site unfortunately. I had a similar issue. I would also try calling and when you talk to an IDES Employee, letting them know that you're having trouble uploading and uploaded to the regular UI upload page (make sure you're doing it with your UI claim number not PUA.

PUA home page shows 30 weeks remaining (not 29, the extra week should be the week above WBA in the first 50). Also shows 1 correspondence and 1 pending issue under the Correspondence heading. Issue says PUA as Issue Type (as do apparently many) with no additional details. From what I've read here, that's probably the 50 week issue.

2021年2月7日 · If your benefit year ends and you haven't worked since it started, you need to call IDES. Do not stop certifying. PUA. The email you got regarding important documents refers to the determination from 2/1. This determination tells you that the 11 weeks have been added and contains important information on what is accepted as proof of income.
