The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is one of the Twenty three higher Institutes of Technology in the country set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research and training in various programmes of Science and Technology.

The Institute offers Master of Technology programmes in various disciplines. The aim of the programme is to train the students in deeper theoretical knowledge which will enable them to tackle practical complex problems of design and development in industrial fields, as well as pursue further academic achievements through research.
