Hodgdon 4350 vs. IMR 4350 | Sniper's Hide Forum
2010年3月31日 · Re: Hodgdon 4350 vs. IMR 4350 Yes. The H4350 is a temp insenstive powder. From winter time to summer time, you will notice a velocity/pressure change in your load with some of the IMR powders. I love the IMR powders, especially IMR4350. But a hot/fast load developed in the winter time will be a HOT load in the summer time.
IMR 4350 | Sniper's Hide Forum
2020年3月30日 · IMR 4350 is a rather "dated" powder that still works well in a lot of cartridges. Too many to name but here are a few that I use it in. 22-250, 243, 257 Roberts, 6.5-284, 270, 280, 30-06, 300 WM. There are probably lots more. Its a little slow to use in a semi-auto. Its been around long enough that its no longer sexy but it just plain works.
IMR 4350 and .30-06 - 24HOURCAMPFIRE
2010年5月16日 · For me, 57.0gr of IMR 4350 and the 165gr Hornady or Speer, and probably any other 165 grain bullet, works very well. To steal the line from O'Connor - if an '06 won't shoot 57 grains of 4350 with a 165, you need an excorsist (sp), not a gunsmith. If it won't work with a 150gr bullet, perhaps you're not using enough powder.
IMR 4350 in 6.5 Creedmoor | Sniper's Hide Forum
2014年8月3日 · My buddy swears IMR 4350 is too temperature sensitive for us here in AZ. He tells me to use H4350 as it is much more stable. Said he learned from experience on the 2. I have a case of IMR that I want to try, but he says don't waste my time. I trust him, but I also don't want to keep it on the shelf and buy more powder just because he says to.
IMR 4350 for 6.5x55 loads? Other calibers? - 24hourcampfire
2020年6月22日 · A lot of folks will tell you the Swede likes slower powders like the 4831's, RE22, etc. However, I have a Tikka 6.5x55 that loves H4350 with 140 grain bullets and would think you should be able to find a good load with your IMR 4350.
IMR 4350 vs. H4350 in 6.5 Creedmoor | Sniper's Hide Forum
2012年4月26日 · IMR 4350 is 50-100$ more as well… I bought mine a couple years ago and have well over a 23 pounds left so I guess I’m going to get very comfortable with 6.5 Creedmoor and IMR 4350. The only thing I noticed, but IMR 4350 is the Colonels are not as short as each 4350 and apparently the velocity swings in temperature
Question on the 7mm Rem Mag and 4350 - 24HOURCAMPFIRE
2012年1月12日 · I know IMR 4350 is not the best powder for the 7 rem mag but I like to keep as few types of powder around as possible. I'm working up a load for the first time for my 7 rem mag and 140 accubonds. Nosler shows 61-65 grains of IMR 4350. I found a sweet spot at 63 grains. Opens up at 64 and 62 grains. I only got to 64 grains before I had to leave.
IMR 4350 & IMR 4064 in the .270 Win?? - 24HOURCAMPFIRE
2009年9月25日 · Older thread but my experiences with IMR-4064 is that it acts like a slower powder in LA cases and a faster powder in SA cases. I have used it in everything from .223 to 30-06 with good to excellent results throughout.
IMR4350 In The 6.5 Creedmoor - 24HOURCAMPFIRE
2018年9月27日 · I have a lot of IMR430 powder, and rarely use it anymore, and was thinking about trying it in the 6.5, but everything I read seems to prefer H4350. Just wondering if anyone has used the IMR4350, and if so, would care to share some information.
