2013年4月21日 · There are no currently suggested loads using IMR 7828 in .30-30, .308. There are only four listed for .30-06 using 190 - 220 grain bullets. By the way, mostly for newbies, If it isn't the newer "super cut" for easier measuring, be careful. Meter a partial load and bring it up to weight using a scale and a powder trickler.

2006年1月25日 · I have found that my current tins of IMR 7828 which were purchased between 1986 and 1990, seem a tad faster burning than data from some other users. I have found that Re 22, IMR 7828, Viht N560, Viht N165, Win WXR, AR 2213sc(H4831sc), and the long discontinued W785 all seem to produce Max pressure with load variation of 0.5 to 1.0 grains.

I started loading years ago based on Layne Simpson's recommendation of 80 grains of IMR 7828 behind a 160 grain TSX. I fired 40-50 rounds with no problem. Rifle is an accumark with 26 inch Barrel.Fast forward a few years and everyone is saying that 77 grains is max.

2021年1月31日 · I'm sure it would work for those weights, but likely a better with 150's since it is a slowish powder. I considered it a few years ago but went down the classic H4831SC route first. They are very similar with IMR 7828SSC being slightly slower burning and a little more temperature sensitive.
