Generally the first week after school gets out in June we have Vacation Bible School. A lot of planning and work goes into this week. Children from age three years old through sixth grade attend. Many adults, Jr. High and High School Students get involved as teachers and helpers.

Vacation Bible School (or VBS as we like to call it!) is an opportunity for kids to gather together and learn about the love of Jesus Christ in a fun and exciting environment. Each VBS session has an engaging theme that combines lessons together with science, crafts, music, recreation, drama, food and fellowship.

VBS is for kids who will enter kindergarten in Fall 2025 through those who are currently in 4th grade/entering 5th grade in Fall 2024. All those entering 6th grade and older can participate as a volunteer. Our theme is “God's Green Earth,” featuring five Bible stories about caring for God's creation and being stewards of faith in our environment.

What are the dates for VBS this year? Sunday, July 21 -- Thursday July 25. Supper is from 5:30-6:00 pm and the closing each night begins at 7:30 pm (ending around 7:45 pm)

VBS will be held June 24 – 27, from 8:30am – 11:30am with an early drop off option starting at 7:45am and late pick up option ending at 12:15pm to work better with family schedules. If you want to help decorate again this year, join us on Sunday, June 23 following the 11:00 service to turn our church into a Camp site!
