Iris Hond (Harderwijk, 20 mei 1987) is een Nederlandse pianiste, componiste, zangeres en tekstschrijfster. Iris Hond is opgeleid tot concertpianiste en speelt naast het werk van andere componisten ook haar eigen composities. Toen ze drie jaar oud was begon ze met pianospelen; vanaf haar zesde volgde ze privé-pianolessen in Ermelo.

THE PIANIST was first presented in 2017 as a reading at the McCarter. It was decided to augment the innate power of the piece with a piano score, and in 2018, concert sensation Iris Hond was retained as composer.

Iris Hond (Harderwijk, 20 May 1987) is a Dutch pianist, composer, singer and creative writer. Iris Hond was trained as a concert pianist and besides the work of other composers, she also plays her own compositions. She started playing the piano when she was three; from her sixth she had private lessons in Ermelo.
