Roger P Allard's, Allard Motor Works, located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, builds what their website calls "a modern hand-crafted version of the famed British competition roadster that stirred crowds in Europe and North America", known as the J2X MkII.

The Allard J2X-C, or the Allard J2X as it is sometimes referred to, was a Group C sports racing car built by Allard in 1992 for use in international sports car racing events. It featured a 3.5-litre Cosworth DFR V8 engine, capable of producing around 580 hp (432.5 kW; 588.0 PS).

The Allard J2X was a series of roadsters introduced in 1952. The J2X was an updated version of the Allard J2 that featured a lengthened chassis (thus the 'X' in the name, meaning extended). As well as the longer platform, the J2X received an improved suspension setup which allowed for the engine to be mounted further forward in the chassis.

Located in Lake Park, Florida, AA is the exclusive ALLARD MOTOR WORKS (AMW) dealer in the United States. The AMW J2X® is a personalized, handcrafted automobile with a build time of 8 to 9 months, depending on factory orders. Each car undergoes a stringent fit and finish inspection, along with an extensive road shakedown, before being released.

The first Allard J2X(produced between 1952 and 1954) was a replacement for the original Allard J2. Starting in 2018 a British company has restarted production of the original Allard J2X.
