Honda Pilot FWD now used J35A9, and Pilot AWD – J35Z1. " That's backwards. The front wheel drive gets the Z1, which is a VCM engine.

The J35Z1 engine delivers impressive power, with a maximum output of 244 horsepower at 5750 RPM and 240 lb-ft of torque at 4500 RPM. The J35Z1 engine features a 24-valve SOHC i-VTEC valvetrain, which provides smooth and efficient operation.
