2020年11月13日 · JBL has done a ton of things within the magnetic circuit to make the material behave in a more stable manner. At 100 degrees F, a Ferrite motor will be down about 1.5 dB in level which means the midband of the woofer will be lower by that much and there will be increased output around the system resonance.

2021年11月24日 · My guess is JBL spent 40 to 70% more inflation corrected dollars on the 4315's than the 4412's. I would also say now they are worth easily Way more than double in Resale. I hope you got good coin when you sold them. I Totally get the priorities with raising a family

2023年8月1日 · Well a bit of research indicates the 4315’s were selling for about half that 10 years ago. The 4430s were as well. I have the 4430s and 4435s. So… from what I’ve read the 4430s are a bit more efficient. The 4315s won’t reach down as far BUT may have better midrange due to the extra driver.

2022年3月11日 · The only other thing I'd say is that these really weren't a great example of vintage JBL. Yes, they were very popular and iconic for their era, but also had some strange quirks. The woofer in these speakers is run full-range, meaning it's contributing to the midrange and treble along with those dedicated drivers.
