2017年10月10日 · I'm posting this here because it's so speaker oriented. I just picked up a JBL M553 active crossover (from the 80's I believe). It's a 24 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley. Here's the instructions: I'm using it to bi-amp my Altec A7s. It's a stereo 3-way crossover. I'm only planning (for now) to use it as a 2-way crossover.

A variable electric crossover that supports 3-way stereo and 4-way mono. It is equipped with an equalization function that brings out the flat and smooth frequency response of the constant directivity horn such as JBL 2360 series and 2380 series. Uses -24dB/oct Link-Witz-Riley filter to smoothly connect each unit and reduce phase distortion.

2005年4月28日 · I have a few of the JBL's left, I've used and installed the Rane AC-23's and I have DriveRacks (and Soundwebs and Yamaha 1030's) and unless you are really prepared to learn the fine details, they all do the basic job of crossing over quite adequately.
