Feb 11, 2024 · Fwiw I have dual TV1813's and a JTR 1200 XS(10hz tune 1200watt 15" captivator) in my room since 2019. Imo the B&C woofs have a cleaner sound signature that sounds more like an extension to the speakers. The JTR while also still clean is a thicker more violent sound signature.

Jul 15, 2024 · 4 x JTR RS1 Subwoofers. Basically, each Perlisten D215s is roughly equivalent to a JTR RS1. In going with 4 JTR RS1s, you have double the headroom. I would also look at 2 JTR RS2s, which are equivalent to but cheaper than 4 JTR RS1s.

I currently have a Denon 2809CI that I just got that is rated at 115w (7.1) into 8 ohms and is not rated for 4 ohms, though from other posts I here that this receiver doesn't have a problem driving 4 ohm speakers.

The 212HTR also measures flatter, extends lower, and has better off-axis performance. Erin measured the 1099 and Mathew Poes measured the 212RT (same drivers as the HTR just in tower speakers).
