Royal Bavarian Jagdstaffel 76, commonly abbreviated to Jasta 76, was a "hunting group" (i.e., fighter squadron) of the Luftstreitkräfte, the air arm of the Imperial German Army during World War I. The squadron would score over 20 aerial victories during the war.

Hans Bohning, jasta 76b, December 1917. Hans Böhning began the war as an aerial observer for the artillery but later became a fighter pilot and had scored 17 aerial victories by the end of the Great War. This is a full-color 1:144 3D print of the Albatros D.Va of Vizefeldwebel Josef Diem of Jasta 76b. For many years this was mistaken as a plane of Hans Böhning because a photograph of him was taken in front of this plane — just one of the pitfalls of WWI plane identification.

2013年2月2日 · This is my WnW Albatross being done as Walter Boning's (apologies, no "umlaut" over the O) mount. I started this about a year ago and have been fighting the "modeling funk" ever since. The blue diamond decals are from WnW "The Bavarians" sheet 30016, with a coat of off white acting as base.
