We provide supervised on the job training and related classroom instruction which will prepare the apprentice to become a Journeyman Wireman, fully qualified to perform the work of the trade and earn full pay for their skill. Requirements for Regular Applicants. Be at least 18 years of age by May 31, 2025. Must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D. by May 31, 2025. Must submit the completed Apprenticeship Application and Supplemental Form. Pay a $20.00 application processing fee.

Applications for college credit are available by contacting the North Alabama Electrical JATC. The North Alabama Electrical Training Alliance Apprenticeship Program is registered with the Department of Labor, Board of Apprenticeship Training (BAT), and therefore falls under the guidelines and regulations of this Agency.

Course registration is fast and easy. Once we receive the minimum number of course registrations, the North Alabama Electrical Training Alliance will be back in touch with you regarding the course dates. Upon completion of each course, you will receive a course certificate from the North Alabama Electrical JATC.
