2020年4月21日 · OME does not make a 4" coil for the JK. On a stock weight jeep you would expect 4-4.5" of actual lift. The big problem is caster adjustment when you go over 4" of lift and your steering links and track bars get pretty steep causing the jeep to roll and sway and your steering will feel light or flighty.

2007年8月2日 · Most 4" of spring under lift require a 4 degree correction. If you lifted your jeep 2.5" you "may" not need to do a thing. The shims are placed under your spring perches, above your springs with the fat end of the shim facing the front of your jeep. So facing your front driver's side tire, the fat end is to your left.

In 2008 Stabilus (ZF Industries) won the bidding war and became the supplier for the Jeep supports. AVM uses the threaded bolt version as show in some of these pictures and ZF uses the ball stud version.

2023年12月30日 · A 2.5" with 33s might look a little hollow. But is certainly a compatible combination. These advertised suspension lift numbers tend to be under rated by quite a bit. A 2.5" lift with 35s is common. Avoiding death wobble is more about preparing the vehicle for the lift ahead of time, IMO.

If the front lower control arms were adjustable, this lift could be used if you chose to go higher in the future. The lift does not come with brake line extension brackets, which some models may need.

2015年2月27日 · With 2.5 lift you dont need a drop pitman or generally need brake extensions. The BDS springs tend to give you more lift than advertised. The OEM lift with YJ conversion will make it ride very nicely (yes the YJ conversion is absolutely worth it). The YJ conversion takes YJ spring plates and YJ front shackle hangers and YJ shackles.
