The Jewett was an automobile built in Detroit, Michigan by the Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company from March 1922 through December 1926. The Jewett was named after Harry M. Jewett, president of Paige-Detroit.

In December 1921, Jewett Motors, Inc. was formed and became a subsidiary of the Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company. This new company developed a six-cylinder companion car to the Paige, which was advertised as totally new and thrifty in price.

Sales of Jewett cars were brisk in the early 1920s, after its introduction for the 1922 model year they sold 9,498 units, in 1923 25,900 were produced. Sales peaked out in 1925 at 28,621 cars, after which sales tapered down to 4,000-5,000 by 1927.

Jewett Motors, Incorporated, a subsidiary of the Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company, introduced its six-cylinder vehicle in 1922. Jewett, named after Paige-Detroit president Harry Jewett, was a lower-priced companion car to the Paige. Harry Jewett sold his interest in the company in January 1927 to the Graham Brothers.

In 1922, still President of Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company, Mr. Jewett was instrumental in introducing a quality; Six-cylinder, smaller companion car to the Paige called the Jewett. This car, along with the Paige, was produced until the end of 1926 when Jewett saw sales drop, and his losses mounting upwards of two and a half million dollars.
