James Thaddeus Goad (born 1960 or 1961) [1] is an American author and publisher. Goad co-authored and published the zine Answer Me! and The Redneck Manifesto. Goad grew up in Philadelphia, describing himself as a loner, misanthrope and weirdo. He attended a Catholic school run by nuns.
