John Austin has previously lived at Bridgnorth and worked on the SVR as a volunteer. His paintings have been used for the pub signs at Bridgnorth and the front cover of the SVR Timetable. He is a Fellow of the Guild of Railway Artists. Neil Ferris of Stourport has painted several locomotives on the SVR.
