Operating under the Division of Student Life, the JU Sailing Team is made up of both new and experienced sailors and acts as a competitive racing team and as a recreational club. In fall 2012, it became the first collegiate varsity sailing team in Northeast Florida.

Founded in 2009 as a club sport, the Jacksonville University Sporting Clays, Skeet and Trap Team became a varsity team sport in April 2011.

Off the water, the JU Sailing team advances sustainability education and care for the water through service projects and community engagement throughout the city of Jacksonville. Come win with us and help build the future of college sailing!
