2009年11月14日 · The Junkers Ju 160 was a single engined transport aircraft developed from the Ju 60 and that saw service with the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. Like the Ju 60 the Ju 160 was a cantilevered low-winged monoplane with an oval cross-section, powered by a radial engine and carrying a crew of six.

Forty-eight Ju 160s were built, entering service with Lufthansa during 1935-36. As well as operating on domestic routes, the Ju 160s also flew on the Breslau-Prague-Munich route. Most were commandeered by the Luftwaffe on the outbreak of World War II and were widely used for communications and training.

One occupants was killed and five others were injured. Engine failure in flight. While approaching Prague, the single engine aircraft went out of control and crashed in a wooded area located in Chlomek, 20 km south of Prague. The aircraft named 'Schakal' was destroyed by impact forces and both crewmen were killed. Wilfried Haupt, radio navigator.
