I am looking at a 2003 k1200rs or a k1200gt. I have read that each has the potential for a transmission seal to leak leading to clutch failure. The gt has 73k miles but had the seal failure at 62k miles and had a new clutch and plate put in.

2013年10月11日 · I own a 2003 K1200GT. I have Suburban MachineType I (no longer in production) on mine now and had American Machinery (out of business) b-4 that. Neither required a longer brake line. I believe that the only risers which would require a new brake line are Suburban Machinery Type II.

2012年7月18日 · I put on the K1200GT (03-05) risers and while they still have grooves, they are not adjustable like the K1200RS are. I would state you can find a set of K1200RS risers (I think from 02-04) and put them on the GT and then you could move them forward to your liking. They also will be lower than what the GT hand bars are.

The Heli-Bars and Suburban Machinery solutions are quality pieces and multi-adjustable. 3. If you want to play, you're gonna have to pay - a little bit more.
