2024年10月18日 · The K1300GT is one of the best bikes BMW ever built; its soul starts singing around 5500rpm. Power, handling, brakes, comfortable ergos, luggage capacity- the K13GT has it all. Having owned airheads, brick-k bikes, and more the K13 would be one of the hardest bikes for me to step away from.

2012年6月14日 · Hey all, I learned to ride in 2008 and picked up a new F800ST back then, and finally felt ready to upgrade to a K13GT. Found a perfect one up in Frederick MD and flew up to buy and ride it home yesterday. I love it! It's got just over 11k miles and all the factory options, even has LoJack and 49L rear topcase installed.

Here's some observations from my experience: 1) In advance of going forward with the project, I read all the relevant posts I could find and the factory manual so I knew what I was getting into and could gather all the tools, parts, and lubricants/sealants I needed before opening her up.

2017年9月26日 · The K13GT was only made for 2009 and 2010 and little difference that I am aware of in the two years. I'd be partial to the 2010 myself, but I think you'll find that more critical than the year is the maintenance the bike received and whether or not all the SI bulletins were done on the machine.

2009年2月21日 · K1300GT - Got to ride a brown one today (snuck a short ride on a blue one about a week ago) and the color is much nicer in person than in the pictures. The first thing I noticed is the motor sounds completely different from the 1200.

2019年2月20日 · Lots of aftermarket shocks on the market. That is about the mileage where I replaced both shocks on my 2010 K13GT. I installed HyperPro shocks with ESA, from EPM Performance; sent in my old shocks so they could move over the ESA bits.

2019年7月5日 · EPM Performance is the company that will transfer the ESA motors to Hyperpro shocks for the K1300GT. This is the route I'm taking when it comes time to change shocks. 2009年3月23日 · I have a 06 K12GT and picked up a K13GT last week. I only have 600 miles on the bike. I too noticed that the 1300 fell into the turns easier than the 1200. So far the changes are rather subtle, but I have not had an opportunity to open it up.

2017年8月4日 · Thinking about trading my 09 K1300GT in on a 2017 R1200RT and was looking for anyone who came from a K1300GT/S. I'm thinking comfort and convenience is going to be a considerable improvement, am I correct? How about the 35HP loss?
