2012年11月25日 · I have a '83 Chevy K30 4x4, Crewcab. It has a 9,000-10,000 GVWR, 350, Turbo 400, 14 bolt rear and Dana 60 front. I plan on building a flatbed for it, as it is a cab and chassis only right now. It had a utility/welding bed on it when I purchased it. It's only got singles on the rear and I want to haul a camper and have the extra stability.

2008年2月19日 · I have an 85 Chevy K30 SRW truck that we want to convert to DRW. I have the correct front hubs for the conversion, but we would like to convert the rear with out changing the housing.

2015年7月7日 · I just bought a '78 Chevy K30 dually 4x4 to build into a trail rig. I already have a SRW 14 bolt to swap in the rear, but the front axle is more of a problem. I've searched everywhere trying to find SRW hubs but the cheapest I can find them is around $250-$280 each.

2011年3月3日 · I am currently building the 88 K30, I have built a 460CID (Chev of course) gone through the Sm465 and so on and so on. Where my problem lies is in figuring out lift size and what others have been able to run...as far as tires go.

2002年8月28日 · Just toying with the idea of possibly converting my K30 to DRW, pulling off the service bed, and installing a flat bed that I already have. If I don't do this, I will be replacing it with an F350 Powerstroke or 3500 Dodge and will just sell the K30.

Our disc brake conversion kit is the best conversion to eliminate the drum brakes on a full float 14 Bolt Rear Axle, in many cases it is less expensive to switch to disc brakes than to rebuild drum brakes.

2025年2月11日 · The front is easy - Buy some single wheel bearing hubs and install them. The rotors are technically different part numbers but the different is the size of the stud holes, you can use the DRW rotors on an SRW hubs but you'll need to drill out the stud holes appropriately (likely an unusual size to fit tight on the SRW studs but NOT a press fit).

2012年4月22日 · 1985 GMC K-1500 6.2/700R4 3.73's on 31x10.50's 95k original miles power everything. I think it'd be a lot more straightforward to get a whole DRW axle, as the brake backing plate flanges are mounted more narrow than an SRW. Also the 1-ton spring perches are placed narrower than 3/4-ton.
