The Kriegsmodell K98 is basically the most simplified version of the K98. Several design changes were made to produce the Kriegsmodell. Several items were completely eliminated, such as: bayonet lug, cleaning rod, bolt disassembly disk, bolt guide, barrel band spring, and even the locking screws for the floor plate.

2016年11月2日 · If you have a tangent sight, depending on the barrel length and the sight base installed, you may be able to substitute a set of k98 WWII german sight leaf with a k98 front sight which at the lowest setting is 100 meters. Otherwise, Brownells did sell high front Mauser sight blades that will need to be filed down for whatever zero you choose.

2011年7月12日 · Any have one of these? I picked up 2 k98's today with decorative coins over the lug hole. I get it home pop them off no lug bolt. Any good Ideas for a fix? I was thinking 3/8 in bolt with a nut. Anyone have experience in this matter?

Every oak leaf has two acorns, one on each side of the base of the leaf. Centered at the bottom of the badge is a ribbon tied around the wreath, with five raised pellets in a vertical position at the center of this ribbon. The Badges most distinguishable feature is the K98 rifle positioned diagonally across award.
