2007年8月21日 · The FSW header at $150 is most definitely money well spent. It'll uncork the exhaust by nearly double compared to the stocker. It improves power everywhere. There is a KLX TT thread on the FMF powerbomb, which is $50 more than the FSW, but if you've got the cash it may be a good upgrade. It would certainly be unique.

2006年2月18日 · Here is what I did today to the little klx. added klx300 muzzy full exhaust. klx300 Dyno jet kit. crankcase breather mod. 13 tooth sprocket. air box snorkel removed. took it out for a little rip and can sum up the difference in one word.

2004年10月14日 · I am helping a friend tune his '07 KLX250s. We re-jetted about a month ago per the normal route (35 to 40 pilot, 118 to 125 main & N1TC needle clipped 2nd from top). This transformed the bike across the entire rpm range. Now we are considering exhaust modifications but do not want to lose low end torque, as we ride a lot of tight, gnarly stuff.

2008年11月18日 · 2009 KLX-250S. 1. Stock exhaust ? 2. Removed the snorkel from the airbox lid. Stock air filter for now, soon to order a Uni. The 2009 DJ kit comes with a new spring so I guess that's a non-jet carb mod. 3. Very low. ~60 feet ASL on average, probably a bit below at times. No higher than maybe 250 feet ASL at the very most.
