Recommendation? - Why the KBAC-27D VFD? - BladeForums.com
2013年1月16日 · It seems that the only VFD I see people in the knife community talk about is the KBAC-27D. Why do people chose that particular VFD? I know there are more options. I work in a steel fabrication shop and we have VFDs on some of our equipment. I think the GS2 VFD comes to mind for what we have.

KBAC-27D VFD on GFCI (and other questions)? - BladeForums.com
2009年4月27日 · What kind of fuse are they recommending? A fast-blow or a slow-blow? In industrial applications, it is common to use a fast-blow input fuse rated at just over 1.25 X the VFD's rated current. This is meant to save the VFD if something bad happens to the motor or inside the VFD. They are much faster than circuit breakers.

2005年12月8日 · The highly recommended NEMA 4 2 HP VFD from KB Electronics continues to disappoint. Induces really bad vibrations in 2 different motors I got: 2 HP Emerson (3600) and 1.5 HP (1750) Leeson. While on the knife grinder I made, I can live with it, I got the second motor to convert my 9x20 lathe to VFD and now the project is dead. Good thing
KBAC 27D troubleshooting help - BladeForums.com
2012年1月30日 · Ok I have everything hooked up and the thing shuts off at about 70 on the main speedpot. I'm running a 2HP Leeson motor. Input is 220v on a 20 amp breaker. I have changed the jumpers on the KBAC to 220v, 2HP, and the 2x speed. I have the max dial turned all the way down (counter clockwise)...
VFD shopping time: Is the KBMA-24D sufficiently enclosed for a …
2013年2月5日 · I'm shopping for VFD to start a grinder build. I only have 110v, can't afford a KBAC-27D, $357 [$375 w/ power switch]. I have decent 1hp 3 phase TEFC motor - room to upgrade to a 1.5 or 2hp motor later would be nice but not critical. Getting one with an unsealed enclosure cuts the cost way down...
Recommendation? - Kbac 27d alternative? - BladeForums.com
2011年12月31日 · Hello all been a while since I've posted on here. Is there a good VFD alternative to the kbac 27d? I know that's the industry standard and anything else requires an enclosure to protect it. But for someone starting off would an eBay Chinese special work? Or a teco fm 50? Thank you all in advance
