This is a heavy-duty, folding loom made of white oak finely handcrafted in Allegan, Michigan. This counter-balance loom weaves up to 38 inches in width. There is a very heavy weighted beater — making it a great loom for weaving nice tight woven rugs.

My friend Lynda just happens to have a sturdy little 4-harness Kessenich floor loom that she's willing to let me trial to see if I like it, can live with it / work with it / have room for it / ENJOY working on it. It looks similar to the one in the photo above.

2016年10月23日 · It's here! The Kessenich Floor Loom is here! Sitting pretty in our guest room ... Even unrolled the nice woven rugs for its feet. I have a mind to clear out everything else possible as THIS BEAUTY is the guest of honor. That might mean getting a smaller bed for the space, and using this room less for storage.

2016年6月30日 · My Kessenich 1960's red oak loom is looking good! It now has new rubber bumpers under the shafts, new shaft and lamm cords, new warp beam cords, a new apron and Texsolv apron cords, a new beater bar, a new wooden board under shaft 3 to replace a warped one, and a new brake cord.
