Stone Pit Meadows offers an idyllic adults only getaway, set in a wildflower meadow surrounded by vineyards and ancient woodlands. With grass tent pitches and two bespoke shepherd's huts that are complete with a comfy double bed, a fully fitted kitchen and ensuite.

The wider glamping site, available exclusively to Stone Pit Meadows guests, consists of 12 acres of wildflower meadows, ponds (including wild swimming pond!) and ancient woodland. Guests can also take to the footpath on the farm that runs adjacent to the vines and out through the stunning High Weald countryside.

All the ponds will be created or restored to very tight specifications ensuring that they are located in the most suitable habitat with the inclusion of buffer zones thereby linking “stepping stone” ponds and increasing the benefits for not only GCN but other wildlife as well.

This former gravel and sand extraction pit has been transformed into a series of three lakes – the Main lake, Eco lake and Northern lake. These lakes are encompassed by wet woodland, ponds, reedbeds and grasslands.
